From our experience of working with schools, many are not #radonaware, and haven't measured or risk assessed radon exposure. With UK Radon Awareness Week 2024 running from the 4th - 10th November, we thought this would be the ideal opportunity to talk to schools about the risks presented by radon, how to identify whether they have a radon problem within their buildings, what is required of them by law, and what they can do to mitigate the risk.

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our new Keeping Boarders Safe training course! The course has been designed to support House staff in completing suitable and sufficient risk assessments for their boarding houses and activities, and in line with the requirements of Health & Safety legislation and the National Minimum Standards for Boarding Schools. Plus, it’s all backed up with our detailed (62-page!) template boarding house risk assessment.
